I am a member of the Penn Image Computing and Science Laboratory (PICSL) in the Department of Radiology. My research is in the field of medical image analysis and specifically in the development of novel methodology for quantitative medical image analysis, with a focus on neuroimaging (esp. Huntington’s disease), fetal imaging and ophthalmology applications. I am especially interested in graph-based segmentation methods for cross-sectional and longitudinal studies. In my pre-PICSL adventures, I led the rodent brain image analysis laboratory at UNC Chapel Hill, and worked on graph-based segmentation methods at the U of Iowa.
